Duke Deen Named a Winner in D CEO’s Mergers & Acquisitions Awards 2024 in the Due Diligence Category

Whitley Penn Deal Advisory Managing Director, Duke Deen, has been recognized as a winner in D CEO’s Mergers & Acquisitions Awards 2024 in the Due Diligence category.

The 11th annual Mergers & Acquisitions Awards event was held on May 2 at On the Levee, presented in partnership with the Association for Corporate Growth-DFW. Every year, D CEO holds an annual Mergers & Acquisitions Awards event to recognize impactful acquisitions, mergers, and other financial transactions in North Texas, and to celebrate the dealmakers who make these transactions happen. Companies, dealmakers, and professionals involved in mergers, acquisitions, and other financial transactions are eligible to be nominated for various award categories. A panel of industry experts evaluate the nominees based on their achievements, impact, and contributions to the M&A landscape. After evaluation, the judges select finalists in each category. The finalists are announced before the awards ceremony, and the winners are revealed during the event. D CEO’s Mergers & Acquisitions Awards event provides an opportunity for dealmakers, executives, and professionals to network, celebrate their achievements, and learn from each other.

Deen has more than seven years of public accounting experience focused on private and public clients primarily in the following industries: oil & gas, manufacturing, and construction. He provides financial due diligence and deal structuring, deal process management, as well as closing and post-closing services for private equity and strategic clients.

Deen earned his B.A. in Accounting from Ouachita Baptist University.
