Who Will You Meet On Campus?
Shannon Spees
Campus Recruiter
Shannon graduated from Baylor University with a degree in Accounting and began her career in Internal Audit and Consulting. A few years in, she transitioned into campus recruiting, a role that aligns with her passion for helping students find careers that fit them best. Shannon joined Whitley Penn in early 2024, bringing her expertise and excitement for growth to the team.
She is the campus recruiter for the following cities: Austin, Houston, Midland, Odessa, and San Antonio.
Outside of her professional life, Shannon cherishes spending time with her large family, staying active, and advocating for mental health. She loves traveling and in 2022, spent seven months living in Europe, enriching her perspective and eating some incredible food.
Meagan Kurosky
Campus Recruiter
Meagan kick-started her career journey as an intern with Whitley Penn after graduating from Abilene Christian University (go Wildcats!). She joined the Whitley Penn family fulltime in 2020 first with the Forensic, Litigation, and Consulting Services group. After being awarded the opportunity to take over the FLVS internship recruiting efforts, she quickly realized her passion for developing others’ career paths. This led to an opportunity to join the campus recruiting team in 2024. Meagan’s move to recruiting is an exciting path because it allows her to cultivate talent and transfer her energy and passion for connecting others to the Whitley Penn brand. She also loves how Whitley Penn allows its team members to grow and develop not only vertically, but make lateral switches in their careers.
Meagan looks forward to bringing creativity and energy to the already dynamic recruiting team. She can’t wait to journey alongside you to find your career home! Meagan is the recruiting contact for Dallas, Fort Worth, and Plano.
Outside of work, you can find her razzle dazzling a themed party, enjoying a pool day or some lake time on a boat, finding a new brunch spot or boutique, and laughing and having fun with family and friends, all while probably wearing the color pink!
