Brett Martin Joins the Dallas Regional Chamber 2025 LEAD YP Class

Brett Martin, Whitley Penn Audit Senior Manager, has been accepted to join the Dallas Regional Chamber’s (DRC) 2025 LEAD YP Class.
The DRC’s LEAD YP program is a six-month leadership development program designed to help young professionals gain a better understanding of their personal leadership styles and gain new insight on leading and inspiring others throughout their careers. Martin will participate alongside approximately 50 classmates and peers who have been selected from across the Dallas area to participate in the LEAD YP program. Participants will meet monthly to receive training on their personal leadership styles, leading through change, personal branding, and coaching and feedback, all using the Predictive Index Behavior Assessment.

Martin has more than 11 years of public accounting experience focused on public and private clients primarily in the following industries: professional services, oil & gas, manufacturing, distribution & logistics, retail, and employee benefit plans. Martin has extensive experience advising clients on generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) issues as well as leading engagement teams on audits of financial statements.
Martin is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Dallas Chapter of Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA). Additionally, Martin is a member of the Texas Tech Alumni Association and is a member of the Highland Park Education Foundation scholarship review committee as well as the Highland Park High School Alumni Association.
Martin received his BBA and MS in Accounting from Texas Tech University.
