Justin Blok Named to IAM Patent 1000: The World’s Leading Patent Professionals List

Justin Blok, Forensic, Litigation and Valuation Services (FLVS) Partner has been named to IAM Patent 1000: The World’s Leading Patent Professionals 2024, a list that identifies leading patent service professionals around the world.

Blok is a Certified Licensing Professional (CLP) and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) with more than 20 years of experience working with both public and private clients. He has served as a testifying expert in federal district and state court as well as in private arbitrations involving economic, accounting, valuation, and strategic issues. He has testified in a variety of litigation matters involving patent, trademark, and copyright infringement, theft of trade secrets, breach of contract, business valuation, bankruptcy, fraud, business interruption, personal injury, wrongful death, and wrongful termination. Blok has testified on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants in the analysis and determination of economic damages, including lost profits, reasonable royalties, price erosion, un-just enrichment, diminution of value and insolvency analyses, valuation, and pre- and post-judgment interest.
Blok earned a B.B.A. from Baylor University in Finance and Risk Management and Insurance, M.B.A. from the University of Houston and Master of Accounting from the University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill). He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association, Licensing Executives Society, and Houston Intellectual Property Law Association. Blok has also served as a guest lecturer at the University of Houston Law School, Baylor University School of Law, and South Texas School of Law.
