Shivana Khoza Joins Whitley Penn as Client Accounting & Advisory Services Controller

Whitley Penn welcomes Shivana Khoza as a Controller in the firm’s Client Accounting & Advisory Services (CAAS) Energy group.
Khoza is a Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) with more than 25 years of experience in the energy industry. She has extensive knowledge of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), oil and gas accounting, specifically exploration and production (E&P) or upstream and midstream, accounting research, financial accounting, capital expenditures, cost recovery, production sharing, financial statements, and intercompany transactions. Khoza has worked with multinational companies as well as start-up E&P companies. Over the years she has developed specialized knowledge in and experience with international oil, gas, and LNG contracts.
Khoza is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).
After completing the course of study for the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Khoza received her M.Sc in Accountancy from the University of Phoenix.
