Whitley Penn Professionals Lead Plano Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and Young Professionals of Plano

Whitley Penn Chief Marketing Officer, Kristen Lollar, and Senior Marketing Coordinator, Rebekah Arredondo, have been named as the Chair of the Plano Chamber of Commerce (PCC) Board of Directors and Young Professionals of Plano (YPP), respectively.

For more than 20 years, Lollar has served as a communications and marketing professional in the Dallas-Fort Worth market. She has been with Whitley Penn since 2012 and has played an integral role in the overall growth and success of the firm.
Lollar is a member of the Association for Accounting Marketing (AAM), the American Marketing Association, serves on the Advisory Board for the Boomer Consulting Marketing Circle, and serves on the North America Marketing and Business Development Committee for HLB International.
Lollar is a graduate of Texas Tech University and she currently serves on the National Advisory Board for the University’s College for Media and Communications. Lollar joined the Plano Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors in 2019 and has served in various roles throughout her time on the board.
Arredondo has more than eight years of experience in the social media, digital content, communications, and related marketing fields. She has previously served as a member of the Whitley Penn NextGen Council, a group of junior employees whose purpose is to gain leadership experience, promote collaboration across service lines, and have a voice across the major firm initiatives. Arredondo has also served as a Growth Champion, a team of firm leaders who serve as the eyes, ears, and voice for the Whitley Penn Growth Initiative by monitoring progress within service lines, finding new opportunities, providing coaching and training and setting an example of what it means to have a growth mindset. She is a member of the Association for Accounting Marketing (AAM) and has been actively involved in the Plano Chamber of Commerce since 2021. Arredondo joined YPP the same year and has served on Committee and other leadership positions within the program for the past three years.
