Whitley Penn welcomes Austin Grigsby as Audit Senior Manager.
Grigsby has more than 12 years of Audit and Assurance experience primarily serving public and private clients in the upstream and midstream energy industries where he is a trusted business advisor. He has in-depth knowledge and familiarity with U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting related to both accelerated and non-accelerated filers. Grigsby is responsible for all aspects of the assurance process including planning, internal control evaluation, risk assessment, fieldwork, and report issuance and engagement closure.
Grigsby is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA), and the Association of Corporate Growth (ACG).
Grigsby received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Rhodes College and a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Houston.
